Interior Paint
- Scope of Work: The scope of work for interior paint shall include the preparation of surfaces to be painted and the application of two coats of paint to the specified surfaces. The paint shall be of the colour and finish specified by the client. The client shall provide all necessary materials, including paint, brushes, rollers, and drop cloths.
- Access: The contractor shall be responsible for providing safe and secure access to the areas to be painted. The contractor shall be responsible for any damage to the property caused by the contractor or its employees during the course of the work.
- Schedule: The contractor shall commence work on the specified date and shall complete the work within the time frame specified by the client. The contractor shall provide a detailed schedule of work and shall provide the client with regular updates on the progress of the work.
- Quality Control: The contractor shall be responsible for ensuring that the work is performed in accordance with industry standards and that the final product is of a high quality. The contractor shall inspect the surfaces to be painted prior to commencing work and shall report any defects or conditions that may affect the quality of the final product to the client.
- Payment: The client shall pay the contractor in accordance with the payment schedule agreed upon between the client and the contractor. The contractor shall provide the client with a detailed invoice for the work performed.
- Liability: The contractor shall be responsible for any damage caused to the property during the course of the work and shall take all necessary steps to rectify any such damage. The contractor shall be liable for any loss or damage resulting from the contractor's negligence or breach of contract.
- Warranty: The contractor shall provide a warranty for the work performed for a period of one year from the date of completion. The warranty shall cover any defects in the workmanship or materials used in the course of the work.
- Termination: The client may terminate the contract at any time by giving written notice to the contractor. The contractor shall be entitled to payment for all work performed up to the date of termination.
- Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the contract shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the property is located.
- Governing Law: The contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the property is located.
These terms and conditions shall constitute the entire agreement between the client and the contractor and shall supersede any prior agreement or understanding between the parties. No changes or modifications to these terms and conditions shall be binding unless made in writing and signed by both parties.
